Product Champion/System Analyst

Job Description

DUTIES & RESPONSIBILITIES:

• Work with Clients , Drilling Engineers or other Subject Matter Experts from the Drilling Industry to collect and understand the reguirement(s) for a solution which pertains to problems seen in Drilling Operations.
• Understand the reguirements with respect to Drilling data and operation and provide feedback on the reguirement.
• Develop, test and maintain robust and highguality algorithms.
• Collaborate with in-house users to understand the applications, workflow and design algorithms that will be user friendly.
• Review the users reguirements to evaluate and liaison with Development team.
• Perform market study and contribute for the continuous development for existing products and proposal for new products.

SKILLS & QUALIFICATIONS:

• Petroleum background or having prior experience in the drilling industry (rig experience / Solutions Engineer etc).
• Candidate must possess at least Bachelor Degree
• 44 years' experience in Petroleum industry.
• Knowledge of Drilling Operations and processes.
• Ability to work with languages like C4#4 or C#. Knowledge about scripting language like Python or R is an added advantage.
• Basic Knowledge about databases like SOL, NoSOL, PostgreSOL is preferred.
• Proficiency in communication as the job reguires to be in touch with clients/drilling engineers.
• Ability to work with teams effectively.
• Skilled at evaluating interfaces and user flows for optimal customer experience.
• Ability to ask the right guestions and turn the answers into software solutions.
• Analytical thinking skills.
• Strong technical and customer service skills.
